Enhanced
  • Pro’s end-to-end encrypted text mode prevents Venice and the model provider from reading messages. Web search and memory are disabled in this mode.
  • The default Private mode processes readable messages under a promise not to keep them.
  • History stays on your device by default. Optional backups and shared chats are encrypted before upload.
  • Anonymous models can read and keep messages. TEE models hide messages from the model provider, but Venice can still read them.
  • Venice collects IP addresses, device information and usage data. Its policy permits third-party tracking.

Privacy context

To use the Enhanced protection, get Pro, click the model name in the prompt bar, and select an E2EE text model. Switching models keeps the conversation, so earlier messages can be sent to a model with less protection.

what the levels mean

Basic

Limits data collection

Reduces how much personal information is collected, stored or shared. Some information remains accessible to the companies behind the service.

Enhanced

Keeps more information private

Adds technical protections that limit what companies and other parties can access, not just how they promise to use it.

Maximum

Protects your data and identity

Combines strong data protection with measures that make your activity harder to trace back to you.

Protection levels can depend on settings or plans. Read the project's privacy context to get the right level of protection.
